June of 2003 started his adventure to learn to become a scissor and clipper blade sharpener. He started Shear Mobility, LLC, mainly as a sharpener. After many years of working hand in hand with scissor and clipper blade manufacturers, visiting factories, putting on seminars and attending trade shows, he decided to bring in his own scissors and clipper blades. Affordable Grooming Shears was born, and has been delivering results since its creation in 2014. Our goal is to provide both a superior customer experience and tremendous value for our customers. We sell to those on an affordable budget, by keeping our profit margins low. We rely solely on word of mouth and social media, as opposed to trade shows, fancy packaging, catalogs, and magazine ads. AGS offers a 30 day return policy, providing there is no damage, no engraving, no defacing of scissors or clipper blades of any kind. Over 31-60 days, store credit will be granted. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges, including return shipping for exchanges and product returns. There are no exceptions to these rules. Affordable Grooming Shears’ return policy exceeds that of the industry standard. All returns are to be sent to Affordable Grooming Shears, P.O. Box 592, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
All shears are tested on genuine rabbit fur prior to shipping to insure quality control. Thinners, chunkers, and blenders are all tested by a local qualified dog groomer.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, ALL orders are shipped with signature upon delivery, unless you remove the option at checkout time.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email from “goshippo”. Please check your email folders for this valuable information.
Shipments are processed via the United States Postal Office, generally within two business days. (Please note: holiday sales may take extra time.) USPS is responsible for the delivery of your package.
- Please be aware that once we pass a package onto USPS, we no longer have control over what happens to it. USPS accepts that responsibility.
- In the case of a lost package, please contact your local post office for assistance, using the tracking number provided in the email you receive from “goshippo.com”. Claims may be filed online at www.usps.com.
- If your tracking states it has been delivered, and you do not have it, please contact your local post office. They have GPS tracking for exactly where your package was scanned and delivered to, making it easier for them to track it down.
- All notifications of claims, non-delivery, damaged/missing shipments, must be communicated to us, AGS, within 60 days of order date.After that date, we no longer have the ability to investigate the package’s journey to you, as USPS tracking numbers are deleted by USPS.
