This clipper will accept Wahl 5:1 blades
AGS Monarch 5:1 blades must use the Monarch comb attachments (sold separately). They are NOT compatible with Wahl 5:1 comb attachments.
First time with a 5 in 1 blade clipper but my second pair of cordless. I love the light weight and small size of these clippers. I’m so used to the wide blade so it has been an adjustment using normal size things but I have enjoyed adding these to my everyday grooming use.
These are my new favorite clippers. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy the same clippers I have or try these. I purchased these and I am obsessed with them. AGS never disappoints, they are very balanced, have grips on the side. I like were the on and off button is, I like that you can see the battery percentage
I use 5 in 1s for a majority of my groom work. I like the weight distribution and design of these clippers. The blade that came with it was very sharp. Lasted about as long as the Wahl blades do. Runs a little louder than the bravura’s. My only issue is that the charging station is very sensitive. I have to set the clippers into the base multiple times to get it to hold the charging.
Hello Tala. Thank you for the wonderful honest review. We have not experienced the issue with the charging station, however if you email the website, your name and order number, with a brief description on what is going on, the girls can send you a new charging stand.
I bought these a couple weeks ago after being recommended to this company by a professional groomer. Jeanette and the grooming team that she works with helped me so much with my noob questions. These clippers are user friendly and cut through her coat easily. I was very nervous about grooming my puppy myself, especially with her still being young and exuberant and me never using clippers before. I plan on taking great care this item so that it will pay me a long time. These clippers worked great and gave me confidence to keep working with my puppy on making her look beautiful and clean (though she's still pretty cute scruffy).
